Throughout this module, I gained valuable insights into how to apply the adaptive leadership framework to the challenges faced in my school. As a leader, I understand that leading change is an ongoing process that involves observing, interpreting, and intervening in a cyclical manner. I recognize the importance of continuously adjusting my approach based on what I learn over time. Additionally, I learned how crucial it is to create the conditions for adaptive work in my school, as well as how to effectively lead such work. Lastly, I appreciated the reminder of the significance of maintaining my motivation and resilience throughout this ongoing and often challenging process.

Pressure cooker analogy
- the ingredients are compelled to mix and enrich each other under pressure.
- There are also safety valves that make sure the pressure does not get too high.
- You use heat to get the ingredients to enrich one another but you also do not want the pot to boil over or explode.
- The stronger the bonds between the molecules, the more pressure the ingredients can take.
